Feelings of wanting to destroy society to reconstruct its ideologies have been at the forefront of terrorist actions. Since the beginning of the 21st Century, lately has cropped up numerous terrorist acts across the globe. So, what better way of showcasing these horrific acts of violence than to make an anime where the terrorists are the protagonists? With Cowboy Bebop director Shinichiro Watanabe at the helm of production in Terror in Resonance, this was sure to be a fiery sensation like many of his previous works. Yet, despite the hype, it turns out to be a prime example of how not every show with a talented director will be a great project.

Persona 4 The Golden Animation Review
What began as a triumphant success, both critically and commercially, in the gaming culture at large, even outside of the JRPG community, has now devolved into whoring itself out, Type-Moon style. That is not in of itself a negative connotation, as the spin-off games and the Vita port are great in their own right. However, the event that started the whole milking process started with the announcement of an entire adaptation of Persona 4 in anime form back in 2011. It would be of no surprise to anyone that it was a thing that, in the end, would be looked at as a project that could not be called anything but unnecessary.

Boobies and butts make the universe a pretty awesome place to exist in. How is this so? Just ask Dandy himself, and he could tell you all about it in glorious enthusiasm. This Dandy I speak of is named Space Dandy. Imagine if you mixed the best of western and eastern humor in TV animation shows and combined them into one neat package. That should tell you that Space Dandy destines to be different and fresh without making an overly big deal about it. Regardless, you certainly can’t beat this hot, fun garbage series with other garbage entertainment, anime or otherwise.

Never has there been as many instances where an anime successfully showed nostalgic sentimentality with regards to making us feel homely inside. This once in a blue moon example of nostalgia shows some of the strangest goofy humor that wouldn’t usually be in a show like Barakamon. Like all surprising gems, what Barakamon does is not merely retread the slice of life with a different style to make it seem different; instead, it breathes all new life with that different style and makes it its own unique identity.
