Girls all wanna have fun. Especially ones with dicks so massive that they could fuck a girl’s ass to their mouth through hentai biology logic. What’s not to like? Futabu has all those things in one great package, no pun intended.

Futabu has become a Futanari classic that ushered in a Futa Renaissance, making the world a much better place. Why is this the case? Because before Futabu, you didn’t have hentai around futanari as its leading focused fetish. You had Bible Black being the biggest series out of all that had lots of scenes involving futanari, but that wasn’t always its biggest draw for many fans. Futanari was treated as more of an afterthought whenever they were featured in an OVA. Then fast-forward to 2014, and we get Futabu: A hentai featuring an all-girl cast with humongous dicks having fun in various sexual escapades that they get themselves into. It was a breath of fresh air for those feeling a bit tired of the mediocrity of new hentai that was cropping up around this time.

In an industry that was big on writing sexual situations that involved making girls feel vulnerable and get raped, it was exciting to see the exact opposite from a studio like White Bear. Not to say that that type of NTR or rape fantasy hentai isn’t always welcomed (and to a degree, it’s still pretty prevalent today), but at that point, it got jarring and boring for those of us that followed new OVAs coming out at a monthly basis.

From the first sex scene, I knew I would be hooked by Futabu’s excellent art style and animation. It flows very well with how the girls give fellatio to one another despite the mosaic censorship that obfuscates the dicks. Sitting on the Characters Designer chair is the legendary Yoshiten, who has been involved in undisputed classics such as Bible Black, Boku no Pico (yeah, really), Star Jewel, and Otokonoko Delivery. These and Futabu are the very reason why he is well-regarded. His attention to detail on how characters look from the line drawings and color saturation melds well with the original creator’s vision from doujin formats. If you give him a high enough budget, his creations will guarantee anyone to bust a nut at any given moment.

Typically in hentai, the designs take away the characters’ personalities, whether they’re the males or females, because writers usually don’t put in the effort to make them at the very least charming to listen to besides their moans of pleasure. But in ones like Futabu, they give a lot of funny and likable dialogue that makes them memorable besides their sex scenes. Akane-chan becomes a good relatable character as she is the one who joins the club despite not having a dick herself. She is how we would react if we were put into that situation, at least the ones like me who love dickgirls so much. The other girls all have unique personality traits that make them stand out. You have the upstanding senpai figure (Sumika-san), the dark-skinned tomboy (Aya-tan), the hyper-sexually active girl (Ai-chan), and Mao-chan being the tsundere-lite loli with the biggest dick out of all the girls.

In the 2nd season, we are joined by a couple of new girls to spice up the intensity of dick girl action. We have the first episode involving the girls going to an onsen to relax, owned by a woman who turns out to be another sexy futa. The scene involving her and Sumika-san is an all-time favorite hentai scene for me, 2nd only to what comes in the next episode. We have a hilarious plot involving a dark-skinned foreign exchange student from America taking the girls hostage, or else she’ll leak their private futa photos onto the web. This girl, named Ellen-chan, is one of my favorite hentai characters. Her hilarious attempts at English and her delicious-looking uncircumcised dick made her a delightful sight to see while being hopelessly adorable at the same time. This episode alone would rank on my all-time favorite episode of any hentai ever. And I don’t make those statements lightly, my friend.

However, if we talk about season 2, I would have to address the next season called Futabu Mix: Futanari World. This season, which was not being done by the same studio, White Bear, was put into the hands of everyone’s favorite hentai studio (not), Queen Bee. As one might expect, this season is the black sheep of the series. No one even counts it as in the same league as the previous two seasons. Although I would say that compared to Queen Bee’s other botched animated schlock, Futabu Mix is easily their most tolerable release. There are still some funny scenes involving our favorite girls. Then it suddenly starts to veer off and go on other hentai stories not involving the Futa Club and becomes a big mess after all that. It seemed like Queen Bee saw the popularity Futabu had and tried to cash in on the hype while simultaneously just giving up on it halfway through.

Despite that big fart of a final season, I would not consider that one to be a big hit on the Futabu legacy. That shows how amazing the first two seasons were. It is one of those hentai shows you could watch and fap repeatedly and not get tired of. Ten years could go by, and I could still see myself popping this up on my computer and fap away to my heart’s content when I’m in my futanari mindset, almost all the time!
