Space Dandy Series Review

OXHwPst

Boobies and butts make the universe a pretty awesome place to exist in. How is this so? Just ask Dandy himself, and he could tell you all about it in glorious enthusiasm. This Dandy I speak of is named Space Dandy. Imagine if you mixed the best of western and eastern humor in TV animation shows and combined them into one neat package. That should tell you that Space Dandy destines to be different and fresh without making an overly big deal about it. Regardless, you certainly can’t beat this hot, fun garbage series with other garbage entertainment, anime or otherwise.

Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt Review

Panty.and_.Stocking.With_.Garterbelt.full_.998330

Do you think you’ve seen everything in entertainment that would make you wide-eyed in disbelief in its various forms of hedonism and debauchery? I’ve got one show for you to feast your eyes on, and, to no surprise, it is thanks to Gainax, by the lead people responsible for Gurren Lagann, unsurprisingly. The name of this title is Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt. If you think I use the terms hedonism and debauchery in any negative fashion, trust me when I say it molds those two things into one glorious package.

Nisekoi Review

It is that time of the season again. Where that legendary anime studio that every anime fan and their mother knows the name of, Shaft, comes with another adaptation where they put their technical chops into. Regardless of whatever manga or light novel they want to adapt, especially when Akiyuki Shinbo is the head of the production, they always want to shift their spin to make it their unique vision. The results are either really good or very mediocre. Thankfully, Shaft’s recent show, Nisekoi, is one of those on their filmography that deserves to be on the firmer side of the spectrum.

One Year Anniversary!

Now here’s something that I never would’ve thought I would write about since I started this blog. And to think it was all based on just some dare that I made with some people I know who said that it would be a great idea to make one and to be a “full-time critic”, what ever that might mean to people. Did I ever wanted this to take off anywhere? Definitely not, I only wanted to make this to express myself and better myself as a writer, as you can clearly see from the evolution of my earlier reviews to my recent ones. Not to say that this blog is one of the most popular anime blogs ever, which in-of-itself doesn’t hold much since anime blogging is dying as of late. Nevertheless I still enjoy doing what I’m doing and I always love it when people are reading them and leaving comments. I hope to make people have a distinct look on a medium that has been a lack of a down-to-earth critic who has no ill-will for any trope or cliche that he sees as offensive or too non-western for his taste. So here’s hoping for a good next four years so I can make this into a five-year anniversary for this blog!

Super Sonico The Animation Review

NESlTh8

What do you usually get from something inherently a marketing ploy for an animation studio, no more minor, for an anime? Most people don’t think of it much and go with the flow while they’re suckered into the gimmick. Not that there’s anything wrong with that at all. When the marketing has something to show for it with lots of fun creativity mixed in to make the experience worthwhile, it can be conceived as quality entertainment for the masses. Now take most of those qualities away that make the show quality entertainment, and you have Super Sonico the Animation.
