It is fair to say that I am one of those critics that had no big problem with DanMachi when it first aired in 2015. It was flawed, no doubt, but it was a harmless, fun adventure show that brought about one of the greatest waifu-bait cuties ever to grace the medium; and I will hear no denying that sentiment from here on out!

Date A Live III Review

It’s been a while. Five years. It sure baffles me that there are people who wanted more of Date A Live. After the disaster that was the 2nd season, I thought that people would reject it similarly to Infinite Stratos’ 2nd season that turned out so bad they only released two OVAs and nothing else afterward. Now we get the 3rd installment from none other than J.C. Staff. After I finished watching this, it was evident that they weren’t precisely giving this season to their A-team, if you get my drift.

Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita! Review

In literature, there is a saying, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” There is another similar one in anime, “Don’t judge an anime by its first episode.” Some would argue more than that, but you get the idea. Then the rest of the episodes come off tepid or dull compared to the first one. Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita, shortened as WATATEN, fits as an example of this, although from a different result. It gets more fun and enjoyable from beginning to end.

Amaenaide yo!! Review

As a noted ecchi connoisseur, I always try to watch old ones that I never got the chance to see rather than wait for the two or three ecchi anime every season and pray they don’t suck. My experience started in the late 2000s with anime like Sora no Otoshimono and later To Love Ru seasons that morphed my obsession with this genre. I never fully experienced all ecchi before the 2010s except for a handful that many consider classics. This eventually led me to come across Amaneide yo randomly, or Ah My Buddha. After it was finished, I can safely say that this is not one that many would consider a classic.

Top Favorite Queen’s Blade Cuties

As a way to end off my Queen’s Blade Review-a-thon, I thought it would be nice to name off my favorite cuties from the series. I decided to not bother reviewing the small OVAs, spin-offs, and specials because there was honestly not much to say about any of them other than the fact that they are either fun and amusing or pointless and a waste of time. Also, one stipulation on this list is that there will be no Rebellion original characters because none of them were of any grandeur to speak of. The criteria for this list is how aesthetically pleasing the cuties are and how vibrant and colorful their personalities are. So let’s start off with:
